Leadership at all levels requires strategic decision making, and the compound effect of our past decisions is today's reality. This applies to people and organizations.

In a world filled with information and choices, we get to practice making decisions all the time. Yet, many of us are often afraid to decide, doubt our choices and are simply overwhelmed with the sheer number of decisions we are expected to make.

In this session, we will explore decisions at the macro and micro levels using concepts from neuroscience and psychology. Together, we will delve deep into logic and intuition, self-awareness, fear and doubt and the role they play into how we decide.

By the end of the session you will:

  1. Understand the role your subconscious plays in making decisions;
  2.  Learn how to make conscious decisions
  3. Come equipped with tools you can apply to optimally make decisions that serve you and your teams in both the present and the future.

Making decisions is self-care and freedom. As leaders, approaching each situation with agency, you can create a better life for your team, your community and yourself, one for which your future self will thank you.

Coaching amplifies learning. By partnering with you, Simona Dinu, Certified Executive Coach will help you work through your specific situation and roadblocks you might be experiencing as it relates to decision making or anything else in your life. In the five sessions that can be scheduled even before November 9, you can get unstuck, create plans for your future, help increase your confidence and create the life you want.

Coaching is a powerful tool that is not used often enough in public libraries and local government partly because of the misconception that executive coaching is only for those in senior leadership positions. That is not true. Anyone is a leader regardless of their title. We lead ourselves, our families and we often lead others. And coaching can help us bring about the change we need faster, easier and create more space in our lives to just be.
Information about how to schedule individual sessions will be sent following webinar enrollment.
