by staff

Join Chris Stephenson (CEO, Haliburton County Public Library), Steven Kraus (Director of Training and Consulting, Ontario Library Service), and Jesse Roberts (Consultant, Ontario Library Service) for an engaging and experiential discussion exploring the challenges, polarization, and unexpected outcomes faced by public libraries programming year-round with Drag Storytimes.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Create responsive policies that support diverse programming initiatives
  • Apply political acumen to ensure that the library maintains control of programming operations during times of philosophical conflict with municipal councils
  • Develop staff training opportunities that provide guidance, support, and instruction on managing difficult conversations
