Join Robyn Medicine, Community Hub Librarian - Indigenous Relationships Supervisor, Thunder Bay Public Library, for a discussion about the ongoing partnership with the Thunder Bay Indigenous community and third-year students and professors from the Sheridan College (Oakville, ON) Craft and Design program. Together, the partners organized upgrades for two resource library branches – Brodie (2020) and Waverley (2023).

This presentation will outline the multifaceted approach that resulted in meaningful engagements with the community, practical skills-building with students, and the completion of modern and inviting library spaces known as the Indigenous Knowledge Centres.
