Join Alayna Doore (Niitsitapiaki Blackfoot, Siksika Nation) for a three-part series focusing on the evolving climate of Indigenous identity fraud in Canada and its implications for public institutions, Indigenous communities, and Canadians. This series will explore ethical hiring practices for libraries to procure Indigenous candidates with meaningful connections to their communities. Explore how this hiring process affects public perception of libraries and influences policies, procedures, and governance.
