Interlibrary Loan mediation services for approved Ontario public libraries
If a library is not lending and has a modest demand for borrowing interlibrary loan items (e.g. less than 10 requests per month), it is more efficient to submit requests to the OLS ILL Unit for mediation services.

Contact our Helpdesk to arrange mediation services for your library. It is quick and easy to learn how to use the system. Please note, mediated ILL services are offered for approved Ontario public libraries only; requests from individuals will not be processed.
Due to a software change, Ontario Library Service is no longer able to offer mediation services for libraries from outside of our consortium. Please contact the holding library directly if you wish to request a loan. Contact information and ILL policies for each library can be found on the LAC Canadian Library Directory.
